Helping the Children of L.A. Family Housing
On Sunday August 11, 2013 RSJ sponsored and hosted a summer fundraising event helping the children of L.A. Family Housing and bringing smiles to their faces.
RSJ provided entertainment and food for the event including water slides, a game truck and a pizza party for the kids and their families! 18 of our staff members had the opportunity to volunteer at the event and help the L.A. Housing staff run the summer carnival.
In addition, as a firm wide effort, we collected 300 items most needed by the residents of the shelter including toiletry items and home ware.
L.A. Family Housing serves families and individuals transitioning out of homelessness and poverty through an integrated system of housing and supportive services.
